The pace was moderate. I enjoyed how Inger weaved in the meaning of the title Immortal heart and revealed the beautiy of it. It was such a touching moment in the story for me. The ending was ok for me, it gave closure. I really need to go re-read Few Are Angels to truly appreciate the significance of this book.
